Early Life and Career

Sean Michael Leonard Anderson II, better known as Big Sean, was born on March 25, 1988, in Detroit, Michigan. His passion for music began at an early age, and he started rapping at the age of 11.

In 2007, he released his first mixtape, "Finally Famous: The Mixtape," which gained local recognition and caught the attention of Kanye West. West signed Big Sean to his G.O.O.D. Music record label in 2009.

Rise to Stardom
