Secret Service
Cheatle joined the Secret Service in 1995 and spent more than two decades there before leaving in 2021 to lead the North American operations of Allied Universal, a private security company. She returned to the Secret Service in 2022 as director.
Cheatle's appointment as director of the Secret Service has been met with some controversy. Some have questioned her qualifications, while others have raised concerns about her political affiliations.
